Lego-opolis Course |
Blockville Cours |
In the following months I had put out two more episodes with a slew of Lego competitors and several new obstacles to overcome. The top four from each of those episodes would join the other finalists. With each episode, improvements were made to the background props, the crowds, and the filming techniques. Friends contributed some of their minifigures as competitors and spectators.
12 Finalists |
The first season wrapped up with the final episode taking place in Las Legos, with the twelve competitors giving their best effort. Rey and Batman were the only two to finish the first course. Batman emerged victorious on the second course and became the season one Lego Ninja Warrior. This final set-up contained a handful of newly designed obstacles, a few upgraded ones, and a massive group of Lego minifigures to cheer on the finalists.
Masterchief's Training Video |
The final stopmotion film to emerge from Season 1 was the Masterchief's training video, which showed off his preparation for Lego Ninja Warrior, included weight-lifting, parkour, and combat. In a few weeks, a compilation film of all five stopmotion episodes and clips will be released for anyone to observe the entire season. And between all five videos, there have been well over 45,000 views.
And later this year, I hope and plan on filming a second season with new and returning competitors taking on brand new obstacle courses. If you have any suggestions on new competitors or new obstacles, I am open to any input! The links to all of the videos can be found below!
